The lighthouse-keeper and Lena testify, while Nina in Athens treats Stefano with hostility. On the other hand Stefano is falling in love with Nina. Nikita upon meeting Stefano asks him why he went to the lighthouse. Stefano assures him that the only reason is that he wanted to thank his father and to offer Nikita a job in his company. Nikita turns down the offer, and Stefanos assures Nikita that Nina is his wife. That same evening Stefano takes Nina out for dinner. At the restaurant Nina is surrounded by people that she doesn’t recognize but they all seem to know her. For the first time she begins to have doubts about her sanity.
